Maya Johnson, M.Ed. is the Homebuyer Outreach & Counseling Specialist, and a certified HUD Housing Counselor. Maya is responsible for assisting prospective homebuyers with one-on-one counseling, homebuyer education, and access to mortgage and financial products. She plays a key role in the implementation of financial and housing education initiatives, including workshops and special housing-related projects, and works across the Real Estate Development and Organizing departments.

Maya’s work centers on promoting financial education, sustainable homeownership, and wealth building to further LCDC's mission. With a warm and engaging approach, she meets individuals where they are—helping them navigate their journey toward homeownership with clarity, care, and confidence.
